Life Persians

In the past couple of days I have read many different pieces of literature that has taught me about the way of life for the Persians. In both the Rubaiyat and Manners of Kings they described the attitudes, way of life, and the beliefs of the Persians. In Rubaiyat, the Persians were very faithful to their god. They were also faithful to each other. They also lived on little and did not ask for much. In Manner of Kings it showed that the Persians were thankful for what they had. They never took anything for granted. They respected everything that they had. " The philosopher ordered the slave to be thrown into the water so that he swallowed some of it, whereon he was caught and pulled by his hair to the boat, to the stern of which he clung with both his hands. Then he sat down in the corner and became quite."
